Southern blogger babe, Natalie Phillips, behind Chick Matter has us dreaming of looking boho chic at music festivals this summer! Natalie teamed up to show us how to style Fresh Tangerine pieces this summer. She was recently featured on Free People Me blog as the "Stylist of the Week" highlighting her natural style in an effortless way. Check out how she layers and styles Fresh Tangerine jewelry below!  Shop the curated collected here

Where are you from and how has that influenced you?
I’m from Brandon, Mississippi. Growing up in such a small town has forced me to work really hard and to never give up on my dreams. My parents are extremely supportive and have always encouraged me to stray from the traditional path.

What inspired you to start your blog?
Well, I started modeling at 16 and fell in love with all aspects of a photoshoot, then I started studying fashion in school, and I've always been super passionate about helping women look and feel their best. Starting a style blog naturally seemed like the next step.

What is a typical day like for you in Mississippi?
When I’m not in class, I’m either working for a local magazine where I style the monthly fashion spreads or collaborating/shooting with photographers for Chick Matter. I also consume way too many caramel macchiato’s. And I attend yoga every chance I get to balance out my never-stop-moving mindset.

I saw on your blog that you recently traveled to California. Tell us a little bit about your trip and your experience there.
California is one of my favorite places in the world. The sunshine, fish tacos, and unlimited juice bars are my thing. My boyfriend is currently living in Los Angeles so he planned out our days, which saved a lot of time. Some of the highlights were biking from Venice to Santa Monica, hiking Runyon, going to the Farmers Market, and eating TONS of good food. We did the whole California touristy thing and it really was the best time.

Do you see yourself moving there?
Absolutely. I hope to at least move there for a little while :)

What brands, bloggers, or influences do you go to for fashion inspiration?
Alexa Chung and Jane Birkin are my main sources of inspiration. They have that effortless and minimal style that I aim for daily.

What are your favorite spring/ summer trends season?
White on white for sure. Fringe and suede seem to be everywhere for spring! I love anything ‘70’s inspired.

If you had an unlimited budget- what would be your dream outfit(s) for music festivals?
Oh my goodness. My dream outfit would be a blend of For Love & Lemons, Reformation, Free People, and of course, some Fresh Tangerine jewels to go along perfectly!

What are the top 3 festivals in the US or the world that you would want to go to?
Definitely Coachella, Governors Ball, and I’ve attended Lollapalooza a few times so I would totally love to go again!
