Do you have dreams of one day owning your own business? Are you curious about how a handmade jewelry brand operates on a day-to-day basis? We’re looking for our next superstar Intern to join the Fresh Tangerine team! Our ideal candidate is someone who is enthusiastic about handmade jewelry and ready to learn all about how a small business works.
The role of the Intern is to assist in the daily operations of our studio and showroom. The Intern is an innovative individual who is a strong multi-tasker and willing to step in and help with any task.

Interested in photography, wholesale, e-commerce or jewelry making? We are willing to mentor you in any aspect of the business that you’re interested in learning more about?
-Be the face of the Fresh Tangerine showroom! This includes enthusiastically greeting and assisting customers, and completing transactions
-Restocking showroom once a week and tidying up displays to make sure the showroom is looking its best
-Assisting with packaging online orders (pulling inventory, packing, and shipping)
-Prepping shipping materials
-Post Office duties
-Keeping track of backroom, stock and inventory
-Creating innovative ways to keep our studio organized
-Assisting with photo shoots for Instagram and the blog
-Many other awesome activities!
-Ability to communicate product knowledge in a friendly way to clients
-Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
-Self motivated; ability to take initiative to complete tasks quickly
-Makes evident good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly
-Excellent time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills
-Laptop is helpful but not required
Internships are unpaid, 10-15 hours weekly for a 3-4 month period.
Internship hours are completed in our studio during operating hours, Tuesday-Friday, 9am-5pm. This internship qualifies for most local school’s requirements for internship coursework credit.
You must be located in Seattle, Wa. and have reliable transportation to work at our cozy historic studio in Pioneer Square.
